Keep em Clean - Solid Cleanser by Beauty Blender

There are many ways to put on makeups; your hands, make up brushes or make up sponges. Personally I prefer my good ol' Beauty Blender above all else coz its easy and fast AND ofcourse it's hygienic. I'm a teeny bit OCD when it comes to things that will touch my face. I change my pillow cases every week and I wash my Beauty Blender after each use coz apart of having to handle my neurotic hormones that will break my face out, I try my best to keep everything else within my control.

People tend to get lazy coz cleaning your beauty tools is a tedious process and I felt the same way to. I've tried cleaning them with proper brush cleansers, antibacterial brush sprays, antibacterial soaps, baby shampoo, you name it but they weren't good enough for me somehow. So I'm beyonddd glad I finally found something that cleans my stuff thoroughly and quickly and it came in the mail today at work!

This Solid Cleanser by Beauty Blender. I mean ofcourse it cleans the Beauty Blender like absolutely NOTHING else but it works super well with brushes too?!(too much, just too much haha) I dont know what they put inside this stuff but thank god I discovered it! With all the foundation and concealers I used, this thing takes off any trace of makeup on my black Beauty Blender which is ahmazinggg. Also it won't ruin the texture of your brushes whatsoever. 

I bought this in a set with my Beauty Blender which is RM120 for both from Luxola. But recently Luxola lets you buy this separately for RM72 which is good coz my Beauty Blender is still as good as new but my cleanser ran out so I went ahead and got it.

Labour Day + Benefit's POREfessional!

For the first time, I get to appreciate Labour Day! Been almost 7 months since I started workin and this phase of life aint that bad once you get used to it coz at the end of the month, you will feel that its all worth it seeing those numbers credited into your bank account :p

What's new?

So anywayyyyy, I finally bought the Benefit's the POREfessional seeing all the hype it got. I always get so impressed when i put the tester on my hand coz it changed the texture of my skin so drastically! I never bought it coz I was still skeptical bout what it'll do to my sensitive skin and didnt wanna waste money on a hundred over bucks primer that I wasnt sure of. So I was in Sunway Pyramid's Sephora last weekend and I saw that they had the mini sized one - RM40 which was a win coz I did not want to get the full sized one and regret if I hated it.

So onto the product itself...

Scent :
I love the scent but usually scented stuff aren't good for the skin. Thankfully this did not break me out after a whole week of using it

The product for me :
When applied, it really does create a smooth canvas for you to work your foundation with. But when it comes to erasing pores which it claims to do, I can't really tell a difference coz I'm kinda blessed with tiny pores(come to think of it, I dont know why I got this coz its the POREfessional and I dont have pore issues hahah curiosity got the best of me as always man)

Repurchase? :
For my skin type(small pores, oily, acne prone), I don't think this is a necessary product to throw in my make up routine coz it didnt exactly changed how my make up looks on my skin throughout the day. I will continue to use it but I wont be repurchasing it. Still searching for the perfect primer for oily skinnnnnn.

April Favorites; 2014

Its not even the end of the month yet, but im sureee  I already know my favorites for this month. So here goes :)

MAKE UP

1. Chanel Perfection Lumiere, RM168

Shade - 20 Beige           
Coverage - Medium to full, pretty buildable
Finish- Matte

Reviews I read bout this online lured me all the way to the Chanel counter in Isetan KLCC to get it and I loveeee this. The finish is completely matte that if your skin isnt as oily as mine I think that you can pull this off without a setting powder. It has a strong chemical florally smell to it though.. gotta admit i was pretty turned off by that at first but whatevs, the way it applies and the staying power's good enough for me to train my brain to ignore the scent haha. It does not break me out and Also! it has SPF10.. I'm all about the SPF's on my skin

2. Revlon Colorstay Foundation, RM52

Shade - 180 Sand Beige       
Coverage - Full
Finish- Satin

I usually cringe at the thought of drugstore foundations coz of my bad experiences in the past with most of em breaking me out like crayyyy. But this one's worth the hype. It has like a satin finish? not completely matte and ofcoz you need a setting powder to go with it  just a tiny bit. Other than that,

Evening Skincare Routine- feat Clarisonic Mia2

Skin type : Oily & acne prone

I put on make-up almost every single day and believe it or not, as much as i LOVE putting on make up, I enjoy taking it off just as much. Coz by the end of my long ass day at work, my make up would've melted off by the oil my face produces and it just feels grossssss.

Cleanse
Make-up removing
Personally, I prefer cleansing waters to take off the day's makeup and recently I've been using the This Works Clean-skin-5-in-1-water. This was kind of an impulse purchase while I was browsing through Luxola coz my Neutrogena cleansing water's almost finished at the time and i hated it and will neverrrr repurchase it, so I got this since the packaging's cute too. GLAD i got it coz I freaking love it! It smells like rose and it doesn't sting my eyes, AND it removes my waterproof eye make up so well. This in my opinion is on par with the love of my life Bioderma.

Cleansing
After removing all the gunk off my face with a few cotton pads, i get on to my fav part, using the Clarisonic Mia2! I started using this since end of January this year, everyday twice a day and I must say, all the hype this little machine got wasnt for shit. The way it cleanses your skin is just beyond what the human hands can do dammit. It leaves my skin squeaky clean that when i tone it, there's not even a trace of make up on the cotton pad. But ofcourse you need a great cleanser to go with it otherwise it wont perform well. For my skin, I use the Purity Made Simple 3 in 1 Cleanser by Philosophy and these two works so well. It's like Purity is Clarisonic's boyfriend or somethin. Inseparable.

I just pour some cleanser onto my Clarisonic and let it do its thang to my face for a minute

Toner
Like I mentioned, my skin is acne-prone. So I was reading and researching for the perfect toner that wont strip my skin off and i finally found the one and only

Australia Bound!

So i was sitting in the office going about my work when i received the parcel that I've been waiting for from Australia from a dear friend and i shrieked when i opened it! yep.. just a little though :p

Inside were all my absolute favs that's pretty much impossible for me to get my hands on here in Malaysia(what's new? & thank god for friends studying abroad, lol)

So lets get started.

The first one is the Philosophy's Miracle Worker Dark Spot Corrector which I've been dying to try. I suffer from hyper pigmentation due to the horrid scars that acne left behind and this claim to erase em. So i'm really excited to try this out and

I'm back! (after a couple of years of not ranting about my personal life on the internet..lol). But most of you wouldn't know me anyway hehe.

Im 24, living in KL Malaysia and I'm an addict. I spend most of my free time (aside from being in Sephora itself :p) reading and watching reviews of beauty products online and you CANNOT imagine how much those reviews be it from famous bloggers, Youtubers or even strangers has helped me with my decision to try out new products and not regret buying em!

So I decided to create this little space of heaven where i'll be telling you about the stuff that i LOVE and did wonders to my problematic skin(well, life lol).. as well as any other stuff that comes to mind.
