May Faves!

Its time to tell you what I've been lovinnnn in the month of May. All products mentioned suits my sensitive skin and does not break me out. Let's start off with

SKINCARE

1. Tea Tree Cool & Creamy Wash, The Body Shop (RM45)

So I've been wanting to try this and coincidentally The Body Shop 's online store had an offer so I got mine at 35 + free shipping! This face wash is not like anything I've ever tried before. The cool sensation that it gives the skin is a little odd at first but then I got used to it and lovin it. I love using it in the morning coz it wakes my skin up for work. Its not drying and it kinda helps with breakouts. Duh.. its tea tree haha

2. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair (RM255)

I've never contemplated so much before buying a product before. So I finally got it last week and Ah ma gaddddd, I completely understand the hype for this little brown bottle. Needa slap myself few times for not getting it sooner. It completely is "sleep in a bottle" and it leaves my skin so damn smooth the next morning I kept touching my face smiling haha. I love it and it's worth every penny. I'll give it more time to work on my fine lines and I'll talk bout it more soon. If you have that extra cash lying around, spend it on this.

3. Philosophy's Miracle Worker Dark Spot Corrector (RM200)

I've been using this for a month plus, religiously. And I think it works really well to

Dupe for NARS Creamy Concealer

You know the feeling when you love something so much but it's so expensive then you find a dupe for it at a fraction of the price? mmmm :)

So I've raved about my perfect holy grail NARS Creamy Concealer (RM100) and the consistency of it which I adore completely to cover up all my imperfections.
I was back in Ipoh when I saw that Watsons is now carrying Collection Cosmetics from the UK! (yayyy) so I was at their rack just checking everything out when their Lasting Perfection Concealer caught my eyes. So as usual I swatch it on my hand and tried blending it out and I was like OMG!the consistency is so close to the NARS Creamy Concealer. So i immediately bought one since it was only RM19.90!
Been using it for about a month and I completely love it and it didn't break me out. The only thing is that it only comes in 3 colors as far as I know. So it wouldn't match your skin tone perfectly and if it does, you're pure lucky! But its not as bad for me I can still use it but NARS Creamy Concealer in Custard is my PERFECT SHADE.

Just look at the shades available for NARS

So anyways, I'll definitely repurchase both coz I love them both so much! If you wanna try the NARS one and and you cant get your hands on it or if you are on a tight budget (we all go broke sometimes lol), the Collection Cosmetics one is definitely a good alternative.

Fresh start

Been super busy with moving to a new place & been loving my new space of heaven. I lived in a suitcase for 7 months and it felt so damn good to just unpack everything out from those boxes and suitcases.
Built this dressing table from Ikea.
The hardest thing I've ever had to do but imma proud mama.
All white errthing white
So in the midst of unpacking unboxing and what not, i received an email saying that I actually won a contest

Ginger Snaps!

So I chopped almost 5 inches of my hair and colored it. Because I'm so sick of my previous hairstyle and the ends were just too rotten haha. It takes wayyyy lesser time for me to get ready for work now yayyy.

Btw, on a side note, Ive been really lovin the Revlon Colorstay pressed powder which i recently purchased on a whim at Watsons for RM39.90.
Pleasantly surprised when I first used it coz it really reallly keeps my oil at bay. And so far it hasn't broken me out after a week of use. Omg really been loving Revlon these days both the Colorstay foundation & pressed powder. Been reaching for the Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation more than my Chanel Perfection Lumiere. What does that mean?! o.o

Okay that's it for now. Back to work! xx

My bestfriend, my family

I talked to you today..

And I reminisced about our college life together. All the things that you did for me, made me believe that it doesnt take blood to make someone your family.

You were the only one there when I went through the hardest break up, got majorly depressed & neglected my studies for quite a bit. You stayed up till 2am to finish my assignment from scratch so that I wont fail the subject. We werent even in the same course but you managed to ace that assignment on my behalf. (genius)

You were the only one that went to the hospital with me at 7am when I was in major pain and you did not leave my side till my family came despite the fact that you got less than an hour's sleep the night before when i went barging in your room crying at 6am. No complains from you, nothing.

When I was alone for the first time in that twin sharing room, got scared and you accompanied me most nights till I got used to it.

When we end up broke at the end of the month and lend each other money without ever judging or pressuring for the return of it.

When you listen to all my family, relationship and friendship problems and always found a way to comfort me with your words and actions without fail.

When I moved to KL and you would drive all the way from Nilai when I needed you without hesitating given the distance.

We don't have to talk to each other everyday, but if there's one person that's gonna come to my rescue when im at my lowest, i know it'll be you. It's been 6years since you came into my life. And if I have to name one thing that's good about being in Nilai the dead town for 3 years, its you, getting to know you.

I love you J.puff.
